Dear Danielle,it is certainly a very strange and surreal time and I think the adrenalin rush associated with all the stress can leave us a little drained.
I am in Australia,on the NSW coast so I am in your timezone at least. At least you will have warmer water up there,I have missed being able to swim in the sea-I found that very therapeutic until a few weeks ago.
I hope you have a nice community where you are
    kind regards Janet

    Dear people
Joyce I hope the hair looks good,I think we have another name for the frosting.I had my eyelashes tinted today as I have no colour in them but I am a lucky woman with the hair and am a redhead with no grey.
I have also had and benefited from a chinese acupressure massage-I had a terrible neck problem,I could hardly move my head and the massage has helped a lot.
My mum has moved to a rehab hospital after her knee op.I was just happy she came through it ok-remember I have done all the jobs over the last 30 years. ie]nursing jobs
I wish you all well,I have been pretty b**** awful lately myself but am trying to regain a bit of function.
Funerals are strange times, arent they really-they are just a big chunk of life
    love from Janet

Dear Lew what a distressing time for you.It sounds as if you are a terrific support for your wife and this is important for both of you.I hope you have good support.
All kind of factors can influence the bowel-medication,blockages,inactivity-just being that ill,but they will keep trying to fix it because it will certainly make her feel better and sometimes it takes a few days good luck Janet
addit-the large tummy is probably a combination of tumor and ascites(peritoneal fluid)with a little constipation mixed in

Hi everyone, hoping you are all ok.I have been through a very low period but made worse by a very bad case of conjunctivitis-horrific looking eyes and blurred vision for several days,my GP feels I am very run down(as if I didnt know that). It is improving now though.I am planning to work 1 day per fortnight and I have started that.
My mum had a knee replacement yesterday so I am a bit anxious about that-she is 78 love from Janet

I know how heartstopping the news can be with the bad-news scan.It can knock you about terribly.Think it all through carefully and get it all in perspective, then work out what you plan to do.
    Best of luck Janet

    Dear people
It has been 4 months now since Joel died, sometimes it feels like a really long time ago and other times it feels just like yesterday but it always feels terrible and I still cry if I talk about him-not to family but anyone else.I feel as if too much has happened since-my sons mood problem and my sisters cancer diagnosis, sometimes I think I havent had space to grieve properly because so many seem dependant on me.
One thing though,I always say Im no good when people ask and Im never without my sunnies especially walking round the supermarket.
Joel really liked Monk,it was one of his favourites and Foyles War which also has the widower theme.
We also have a long weekend coming up Queens birthday ,who knows why we have that one-but its usually cold and is the opening of the ski season in the Snowy Mountains.
I hope everyone has a bit of a lift soon as it seems to be all up s and downs(even though the ups are not that great and dont last!) love from Janet

I have my new car,a toyota corolla and I have my youngest sons driving test to book.It has been put off with everything going on and he has been very patient.I hope your weather in the northern hemisphere is shaping up,how it affects our moods!I hope everyone is surviving the downturn in the economy love from Janet

I also have had a bad feeling about how Rose was and her sisters post confirmed it-its a bit familiar for me as we had to deal with very rapid deterioration which sometimes seems to happen with those previously very fit and well Janet
