Eileen–I had no clue Trevor is only 25. God bless him. Are yall on facebook? I would love to connect more with your family.
tiff1496MemberI’m so glad you love MDA. We love it too. I just feel at home there. Are you seeing Dr. Javle or another doctor? Maybe next time I’m there we can meet up!
tiff1496MemberOh no! I hate this! Is this the first chemo he has been on? I believe Xeloda works best when used with Gemzar.
What doctor are you seeing? If he isn’t being seen by a major cancer center, please try to get him to one.tiff1496MemberStill praying for you Grover.
tiff1496MemberGreat!!
Party on….hahatiff1496MemberY’all are so funny.
I believe we are all young at heart! I hope my post didn’t upset anyone!! Because you all know I love you all!!!!tiff1496Memberhaha Yes Darin!
I was just looking for some young families with small children. I need ideas on how to keep my family running while dealing with this cancer.I seen Dr. Javle a few weeks ago…and told him Hello for you.
tiff1496MemberDr. Javle has me on Gem and Xeloda. I believe xeloda is the same thing as 5fu, but it might be a little easier on people. You might want to call his office and ask about doing xeloda and not 5fu/
tiff1496MemberPam- I agree most have Liza’s type of cancer. So sad. They thought that I might of had it. Dr. Javle was surprised that it wasn’t that. Im thankful, CC does get more research, and tends to respond better than her cancer. I don’t have anything wrong with my liver other than CC thank goodness.
Lainy- WOW an 11 year old. How sad. I wonder what happened to her. Breaks my heart.
Yep. It seems to happen to only the best.
tiff1496MemberThis is a good idea!
I wish I had some advice. We are living off fast food, and I’m sick of it! But I just don’t have the energy to cook much. I will be following this post for sure!June 2, 2012 at 5:42 pm in reply to: Vitamin D3 regulates cell viability in cholangiocarcinoma #59519tiff1496MemberSo glad Eli could tell us the difference. Because I have no clue. The study just said D3. I’m taking 1000 IU right now. So its just 1 pill. I will start to take 2000 IU in a few weeks.
I’m also starting to do other stuff to heal more natural. I started epsom salt baths last night. Never know what might help!

You are a few months a head of us. Is the father in the picture. I can’t imaging how down my husband is to also be a primary care giver to young children! I only hope you have a good support system there!Yes he is! He is an amazing man, and I proud to call him my husband:)
It is hard on him. I was doing gall the cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the kids while he worked full time.
Now he works full time still, and picks up my slack. Plus I have an amazing family to follow me every step of the way. I’m doing good I must say!
Tell your husband to hang in there!!May 29, 2012 at 3:41 am in reply to: Through my husband, i join this very scary world of cholangiocarcinom #61416tiff1496MemberSorry you had to find us.
