SpectatorKris,
I know, it is so tough. People don’t know what to say so they end up saying the wrong thing and we end up comforting them. Ironic to say the least.
I love it when people tell me they were so sick they were dying, you know because of a head cold or something.
hang in there!

I had my liver resection last year at UPMC Passavant.
Lots of prayers and keep us posted!

Can you tell us more about your husband? How old is he? Where is the cancer located? Where to you get treatment at?
You will get tons of support and information here.Best wishes,

SpectatorHi Kris,
Hang in there. I’m not sure what the dizziness could be from, but (someone correct me if I’m wrong) I don’t think anyone on this board has ever had a brain mets. Let us know.
God bless,
Susie

SpectatorGlad you are done with chemo!!
FYI, I never had nausea with chemo but radiation caused a lot of vomiting towards the end. Maybe talk to your Dr about going on a prophylactic proton pump inhibitor? They are usually very well tolerated.
Or I would really pay attention to yourself during treatment and listen to your body. Make sure you tell your docs right away if you are getting heartburn/acid reflux symptoms.Take care!

SpectatorLeeAnn,
Sorry to hear of the news, but it doesn’t sound like they know what it is yet, so try not to worry prematurely. I know, easier said than done. That seems to be a typical response, the oncologist wants to observe and the surgeon wants to remove. Hopefully, the second opinion will help you make a decision.
Take care,
Susie
