Thanks to everyone that participated!
Help fund research that will move us closer to a cure. To celebrate the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation’s 15th Anniversary, and to support our volunteer committee’s pledge to raise $150,000 to fund critical research into cholangiocarcinoma, we are holding our first-ever virtual silent auction – Bidding for the Cure.
We are auctioning off a variety of items, memorabilia, and trips, but more importantly, we’ll be raising funds in support of our mission to find a cure and improve the quality of life for those affected by CCA. The auction kicks off with a Facebook live featuring Stacie Lindsey, CEO and Founder, music, fun, and the first look at all of the fabulous items up for bid. Then the bidding will begin!
The beauty of having a virtual silent auction is that so many more people can participate in the bidding, including neighbors, friends, and family. And don’t worry if you think you don’t have enough money to bid on an item, we have more than 60 items to choose from with varying price points. We have something for everyone and you do not have to be a part of the CCF community to participate. Join in the fun in three (3) steps:
STEP 1 – Register
Register your phone number and credit card at https://qtego.net/qlink/cholangiocarcinoma
Once you register, Qtego, our online auction provider, will send you two text messages to the phone number you registered with bidding instructions. Registration opens on September 13th. Those who register early qualify for a drawing to win CCF swag!
STEP 2: Start bidding after watching the kick-off Facebook live!
STEP 3: Spread the word!
Your auction participation doesn’t merely have to be focused on bidding. You can be an extension of our public relations and share this blog post on all of your social media accounts. Simply sharing Facebook posts about the auction qualifies you for a drawing to win a special prize! Please share your Facebook account handle by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also show this QR Code from your smartphone to people when you are out and about talking about the Foundation. They’ll be able to register for the auction on the spot!
Word-of-mouth participation is much appreciated. You can tell everyone that all funds raised from the auction will go directly to fund research - one of the most impactful ways to support CCA patients.
