    We just got off the phone with Dr Tham and she said that all the tests came back normal and we still do not know what is causing the fevers. She is consulting with her colleagues to see what kind of antibiotics to put him on to help with the fevers. Luckily it does not look like he will have to go into the hospital for IV antibiotics for now. She is hoping to continue his chemo on Thursday.

    Has anyone else gone through this before?

    Thanks everyone!

    Though now we are all kinda down in the dumps again. My eldest brother was just diagnosed with some kind of throat cancer. They are planning surgery to remove it next month, but not sure if it has spread anywhere else. What next?

    I am so happy for your Kristen. I am glad you are feeling better. Though it must be true that that there are no tests our there to on all liver issues. Dr. Tham even wonders if the fever Marc is experiencing is being caused by the tumor. She just has no way to know for sure.

    Dr. believes that the chills and the spikes in fever are from the chemo since there is no infection. He is so miserable. I hate to see him like this.

    Fever is back. 100.3. It appears to be going up and down. Very strange. He took some more tylenol.

    He has been drinking a lot of Gatorade, but not enough water. Dr. told him that he needed to fill up the water glass a little more. It does not sound funny though Kris. I completely understand where you are coming from.

    And yes Lisa, Marc’s spirit is WAY up thanks to this news. It is beautiful here is Houston and I am sure it is going to be a FABULOUS weekend!
