Gavin, so very sorry you all have been having such a rough time. Jaundice and dark urine should never have been ignored. If your dad’s tumor has not grown perhaps another mixture would help even more. Also the fact that the specialist never called to discuss the scans with you is not acceptable. I sincerely hope your dad is admitted to the hospital so that they can alleviate the jaundice. Guess, I would also tell the specialist you want a new doctor (other opinion) and that the neighbor upstairs needs a plumber (the doctor might try that). Sorry, it just hit me, I had to say it. Nothing angers me more than a patient who is being ignored. I still think its good that the tumor was kept at bay.Good luck today.

Dearest Cyndi, please accept our deepest sympathies and prayers that go out to you and your family:

If I should be the first to go,
And leave you alone, My Dear,
Let not your heart be lonely,
Nor in your eye a tear.

Grieve not for me, my darling,
    I’ll not be far away,
With petals of love and tenderness,
I’ll pave for you the way.

To join me in our sanctuary,
    And ne’er again we’ll part,
Grieve not for me, my darling,
    I live within your heart.

    Take joy again in living,
As you did in years gone by,
God knows of what He’s doing,
    And not be questioned why,

Grieve not for me, my darling,
My life with you on earth,
    Each moment filled with happiness,
And love so few be worth.

I’ll be waiting for you Sweetheart,
    Where skys are ever blue,
With eager heart and open arms,
    Patiently for you.

Grieve not for me, my darling,
May faith and my love keep
    Your soul filled with contentment,
    Eternally I sleep.

Hi Maureen and welcome to the best little club in the world that no one wishes to have to join. On the Essiac Tea, a friend of ours with Lymphoma has been going to a Natural Pathic doctor for 2 years now and she highly recommends the Essiac Tea. I believe it can be found in almost any natural foods store, like Whole Foods or here in Phoenix at Sprouts. Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law and you have come to the right place to ask or share. Please keep us posted.

Lisa, I am not sick and I get dizzy lots. I usually equate it to the weather system. I also now have tinitis. Boy, is that annoying. People with tinitis hear different things, mine is the sound of steam from a radiator. Like a hissing. At any rate I asked my doctor if he thought B12 might help and he said it’s worth a try. Of course I have not gone yet to the store to get it but thought I would pass that on. It could be the lack of some vitamin.

I asked, because Joe Alioto (owner) is Teddy’s, like 3rd cousin. Really nice guy!

Unfortunately this IS the Best little club in the world that no one wishes to join.
It’s a club of caring, courageous and knowledgeable people. Thank you for letting us know that there are more people out there than we thought who are
    finding this Board.
This is a journey that no one should have to travel. For sure your Mom is in a more peaceful place and never far from your heart and mind.

Dearest Barbara, we are so very sorry to hear of dad’s Passing. There are no words adequate enough to describe your father/daughter relationship so I will just print this poem and know that you are in our hearts and prayers.

To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
    I’m writing this from Heaven.
Here I dwell with God above.
    Here, there’s no more tears of sadness;
    here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I’m out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me
    and said, “I welcome you.
It’s good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone.
    As for your dearest family,
    they’ll be here later on.
God gave me a list of things,
that he wished for me to do.
    And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night,
the day’s chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you…
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth,
    and all those loving years.
    Because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry:
    it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
    unless there was some rain.
One thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over.
I’m closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you
    and many hills to climb;
Together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
    And now I am contented….
    that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way
    I made somebody smile.
When you’re walking down the street
    and you’ve got me on your mind;
    I’m walking in your footsteps
    only half a step behind.
And when it’s time for you to go….
from that body to be free.
    Remember you’re not going…
    your coming home to me.

Teddy is a “regular” at all the golf courses!!!! He was not chilled yesterday or today so perhaps it was a bug. I need to debug him!!! We don’t mind the heat.

OMG, I cannot believe the doctor made you wait all this time for him to order a port. I am just amazed that your comfort is not being attended to. Yesterday when we went to Teddy’s radiologist they had a dietitian and make up ladies walking around talking to patients! How about getting a couple of cute little beret type hats. They would catch any of the fallen hair. Hope the port issue is settled and you might ask your doctor how to proceed with him when you have questions or something needs attention.

OMG! Good to meet you, sort of. Teddy’s ONC is Jack Cavalcant and the radiologist is John Kresl. There is another gal also in Awatukee. We go to Banner Desert for almost everything except the radiologist who is at Banner Good Samaritan. We have been so very lucky with our doctors!! Yes, I am anxious to speak with Dr. Kresl today. You know how deep down you just feel something is not right? I hope I am proved wrong. Thanks for your note, you are REALLY close to us. Doesn’t get any closer to Chandler than Sun Lakes. OOPS I forgot Ocotillo. By the way Teddy said the only time he feels real good is when he is on the golf course!!!!!! That’s my Teddy!

Oh, Marion, we are so sorry to hear about your ankle. That is soooo painful. Guess you will have to stop the ballerina antics! Please feel better soon. I know David will do fine but it won’t be the same without you. Sending hugs your way.
