Hello Vincent and welcome to the best little club in the world that no one wishes to join! I got your e mail and would like to talk to you if you can call me today.
I do have some suggestions and it sounds like your mother is about where Teddy was 3 years ago. Yes, 3 years. Let me know if you cannot call and then I will answer your e mail. I have so much to tell you I felt it would be better to talk.

I was thinking about you today while waiting for Teddy to get his fiduciary implants. What can I say that I have not said to you? Once in a while a wonderful person makes a difference in our life and you are one of those special people! You are in our thoughts and prayers as we wish for you peace and no pain! I was thinking of you today and will think of you always!

OK! Count me in and Teddy said he would like to be there as a “survivor” if he can. You know, me and my shadow????

Hi Marion, funny you said that about the Oncologist as on our first visit to our new “aggressive” ONC he said just that, last week. He said 1 in 5 will get help from chemo but who knows who that will be. But it could be you. I have been wanting to write you about the March meeting here in Phoenix. Can you give me the dates on that and where it will be? I am interested in “working” the booth.

So sorry to hear that. Always, always keep your hopes up as you never know what is right around the corner. I do not know about that procedure but what about radiation or Cyber Knife? What about another doctors view?

Again there are so many pros and cons. Probably if we put 10 doctors in a room we would have 50 opinions! I still believe it depends on where the cancer is and the prognosis and the age of the patient. While we are all pretty much fending for ourselves until more research is done on CC its a hunt and peck game…not fair but sometimes we need to listen to our gut feelings and hearts.

Hello and welcome to our Board. I am not a doctor but those are the symptoms my husband had when he was Jaundiced. Have you been to a doctor or called one since these symptoms started? When jaundiced the itching is unbearable. The only thing we found that helped was ice or a cream called Sarna that we got at Walgreens. Do not know what you have there but you really need to contact his doctor.

Dearest Charlene, we are so very sorry to hear of John’s passing. You were a wonderful wife and caregiver and helped him through this nightmare of a journey. What the 2 of you had will always live on in wonderful, loving memories and remember he will always be with you! I wish we could jump off these pages and give you warm hugs but our sincere prayers and thoughts will have to do across the cyberspace. Our most heartfelt prayers to you and your family.

Oh boy, Jeff….did you have Cyber Knife…I can’t remember. I had thought there was very little side effects involved! The doc called this morning to tell us he is ordering Zofrin! We were hoping Teddy would be ok for Xmas but if he finishes
    Dec 22nd…Mmmmm.

P.S. Got Teddy’s schedule for Cyber knife yesterday. Nov 25th implant the seducial gold rods. Dec 16 – 22 (5 doses) and then he will be done. They tell me he will be as weak as he got from radiation. Could be sick to his tummy too. Too bad its right before Xmas but if it works!!!

Sometimes I think this should be called the Elevator disease with all the ups and downs. I am glad that your dad’s doctor is revisiting radiation. It will be interesting hear what they say. Stay strong and thank you for the update as we all care and your family is in our prayers.
