Wonderful scanresults!!
As a patient, as well as a nurse, a fully agree with PCL. DonmariaSpectatorI was thinking about what has been done more then the GemCis-treatment? Stent to relieve jaundice/fluid build-up (leading to pain and confusion)?
MariamariaSpectatorYes, hope coming from Sweden as well, that the procedure will be easily done. On my bad days your story, among others, are what lifts me up.
MariamariaSpectatorThis is so wonderful Tom!! You

My scans has shown shrinkage since oct-10. Having another one next week. What bothers me now are the nodulis thatmariaSpectatorCeleste, I was in to this alkaline treatments for a while, though not with cesium. Till I found out there is no evidence.
To prevent the body form being to acid I avoid meat and a eat vegetarian (+fish sometimes).
The pH in the body is constantly regulated by the body itself using different mechanisms. There is some harsh side-effects using alkalines as well.I really hope your scan turnes out to be just fine – I find your story VERY encouraging!!!! Please let us know!!!!

mariaSpectatorSmoothies with fresh berries and fat milk/youghurt! Calories and vitamins without the feeling of eating.
mariaSpectatorEXPERIMENTAL??? Here in the best liver-center in Sweden ALL CC-patients go through this now, if possible. Often combined with chemo, and often as neoadjuvant therapy, if resection not is an option. There is a lot of evidence of the effiency, publicated in scientific journals. (Pubmed)
mariaSpectatorAs a nurse I really think Lainy and Marion has a point here… Symtoms of a liver put under too much pressure. He should be in hospital in my opinion. Esopheagal varices is not a joke. Chemo in this situation sounds like a bad idea!! How are his ASAT/ALAT?
Hoping everything will turn out ok!
