Dear Lets Live,
I am so very sorry you are facing this marathon fight with such a recent diagnosis. You are not alone and I hope you find as much support here as I have. There are many treatments to consider and keeping your spirits up with all the loves and support you can get will help give you the strength to get through them.
WillowwillowSpectatorVery interesting article, thanks!
willowSpectatorThat’s wonderful!
willowSpectatorLisa, I too share your disappointment and frustration. i also share your relief that its “just one small localized one”. My heart goes out to you in a big way, wishing you strength to keep running this marathon, the peace you need and joyful moments with your family this Christmas season.
WillowwillowSpectatorDear LeeAnn, You definitely have a good reason to feel confused and scared. Cry if you need to! there is still plenty of room for finding joy as well with your kids this Christmas break. Enjoy the fact that theyre out of school and can be with you. when you need to cry or express fears, Let it out. find a supportive friend, clegy member or therapist. You really do have so much on your plate. Expressing your feelings is healthy and may give you the strength to carry on with the fight and your job as Mom.
Keeping you in my thoughts and staying positive.
WillowwillowSpectatorI’m sorry Marinmommy. This is such a difficult time, though you have shown great love and strength to your father. The nurses should help him if there is any chance he is in pain. This is a precious time, though so sad. Sending a prayer for peace to your father and family.
willowSpectatorI am also very sorry to hear this news. You’re an amazing source of strength and love for your sister as she tries the next approach. Prayers for you and your sister.
willowSpectatorHang in there Randi!
willowSpectatorMay I ask if she has resumed chemo? If so, did it change from gem-Cis?
willowSpectatorThat’s wonderful that your sis is having her resection Monday! She sounds strong and I expect she will come through just fine. Still, understandable that you have anxiety about this, you’re only human. This is the best news, that she became resectable! I will be keeping you and your sister in my thoughts.
WillowwillowSpectatorHolly, thanks for the offer to talk via phon. Will keep that in mind! Meanwhile, my whole family had bad stomach flu this week, including me. Feeling better and must catch up now on the stuff that fell by the wayside!
Enjoy the book!willowSpectatorThank you for that update!! You’ve brought lots of hope as my sis (age 50) is following he exact treatment path…was on gem Cis, unread table due to portal vein involvement …about to have Y-90 radioembolization . So glad to hear it made such a difference for your Mom! I know it’s not a cure, but if it can shrink the tumors that dramatically , then it should buy lots of time.
God IS good!
WillowwillowSpectatorThinking of you, Lynn and your family.
