John Demetriadis

June 18th, 1955 – October 14th, 2020

In February of 2019, John was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer that affects the bile ducts and was already in the late stages. He was given approximately 8 months to live at that time, but that wasn’t good enough for him. John was determined to fight, battling this rare and late stage cancer for nearly two years. On October 14th, 2020 he was taken from us to be with his parents and our Heavenly Father.

John was a loving husband to Eugenia, a proud father to Stephanie and Constantine and was living and fighting for time with his grandson Evangelos. A man who was guided by his faith and always did right by his family, his presence will be missed immensely.

Unfortunately, there is currently no cure for this rare type of cancer. Join us in continuing the fight for John and others against cholangiocarcinoma. Research is desperately needed for this specific type of rare cancer to find more treatments and earlier detection to allow others to have more time with their loved ones. Please consider making a contribution to this important initiative in John’s memory to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
