On February 8, 2021 a loving family man and friend, Richie lost a courageous two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer (a rare bile duct cancer called intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma). Richie was the devoted husband to Michelle Mack and an incredible father to her two sons Brandon and Brett, and his granddaughter Mariah who comforted him in his final moments.
To celebrate and honor Richie’s memory, we are creating a fund-raising initiative for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation to assist with the research needed to help diagnose this rare bile duct cancer faster and establish new treatments that will increase the survival rate of those affected by it.
Through this initiative we hope to give to the families who may be impacted with this not only more time with their loved ones, but the possibility to say they won. Richie was as selfless as they come, he always put others before himself and wanted nothing more to put a smile on the face of those around him. Whether he was riding his Harley or on the golf course, he lived his life to fullest and created lasting memories with everyone.
With this foundation, we wish to continue the impact he has made on so many peoples lives and supporting those affected by this.
The Mack family and their friends thank you for honoring Richie and continuing his memory.
