Martha “Martita” Octaviani

On October 19, 2019, Martha “Martita” Octaviani, beloved mother of two, from Lake Mary, Florida, passed away at the age of 62.

Martha was born on April 12, 1957 to Hector and Marta Octaviani in Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Martha earned degrees at the University of Puerto Rico and Seminole State College which allowed her to work as a pediatric nurse and later as a Physical Therapist Assistant.  She was an active member of Nativity Catholic Church and enjoyed singing in the church contemporary choir.

Martha would often be seen tending to her herb garden outside, spending time with her children, and never ever being still.  Martha was a true champion to her children throughout her life.

Martha was preceded in death by her loved ones, Gerard Drolet and Rafaela Drolet, as well as her father, Hector Octaviani.  She is survived by her beloved mother Marta Octaviani, her daughter Jeanette Rodriguez, her son Anthony Rodriguez, her brothers Hector Octaviani, Jorge Cortes, Dante Octaviani, her sister Denise Octaviani, Jose Rodriguez, Daisy – the teeny teacup cat, several nieces and nephews, and many other loved ones.
