Mary Elizabeth Kroenung

October 31, 1969  – June 25, 2018

  • Mary Elizabeth Kroenung, born October 31,1969 passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends in her home on June 25, 2018.   A loyal and loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Mary was a graduate of Texas A&M, a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and dedicated her time, energy and passion to improving people’s financial lives through her professional career at Intuit.

  • Mary illuminated all the lives of all she touched through her warm smile and generous heart.   She believed her purpose in life was “to make everyone she encountered feel beautiful and important”. Not many people achieve their life’s purpose but Mary did with flying colors.

  • Mary is survived by her son Bradley Payton Lyday and his wife Esti Rodriguez Lyday; both of her parents, Paul Ernst Kroenung and Susan Ai Chun Ho Kroenung; her brother, Ken Kroenung; and her nephews Justin, Kenny, Evan and Seth Kroenung.  She will be remembered and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

  • Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Mary’s remarkable life with a visitation on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and a service on Monday, July 2, 2018 beginning at 4:00 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, TX 75013.  It was Mary’s wish that this event be like the ones that she hosted in life, a celebration of life, love, and family and that only white or bright colors be worn.  Mary said, “No black, I wore enough of that in life.”
