Will Jurman’s Fundraising Page

Hello.

My name is Will Jurman and I am 12 years old.  I am in the 7th grade at John Muir Middle School in Burbank, California.  Earlier this year, my friend, Christopher Wilke died of Bile Duct Cancer (That is a picture of Christopher to the right).  He was one of only 3 children under 17 who had ever been diagnosed with this disease.  I am planning a community carwash and bake sale to raise money for research to help develop a cure for this type of cancer.   All the money I make will go to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (Federal Tax ID # 20-5776861).

The carwash will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 10:00 am in the parking lot of Burbank Temple Emanu El, at the corner of Glenoaks Blvd. and Amherst Ave. (1302 N Glenoaks Blvd, Burbank, CA 91504).  I will be advertising through my temple, Christopher’s church, Facebook, local PTAs and the Burbank Leader.
