Thom was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma March, 2014 and passed away April 20, 2016. Through his treatments he remained positive and hopeful. Earlier in his life he served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a true hero and in his 4 grandson’s eyes he truly was Captain America. Thom was a loving husband and father and lived life to the fullest. He had so many hobbies like photography, writing, sports and he enjoyed all genre’s of music. In the technology community he was a mentor and friend to so many. You may go to his website to really understand what an amazing man he was.
Our family is grateful for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation that has given us hope and support for future treatments and possible cure for this awful cancer. We will continue to share and bring awareness in honor of our husband, dad, son and brother. We love you and will miss you so much!
