Journey of Hope: Day 29

Headed east from Weston, WV, to Sparta, NJ, for a night of rest before starting the final 1/3 of my journey Friday afternoon. It was another beautiful day traveling through WV, western MD, PA, and back into NJ. I had to stop and visit the Hope, NJ, Sycamore tree one more time before arriving home. Tomorrow I head west, and by June 29th, I plan to visit the remaining states and towns of Hope I’ve yet to see on this trip: MO, KS, NE, WY, CO, NM, AZ, CA, and NV.
While speaking with one of my brothers today, he mentioned that a local TV station in York, PA, had done a news segment on the Journey of Hope. I was excited to hear that for two reasons. Reason #1: The story must have been picked up from the Houston, TX, Fox affiliate; which meant the story resonated with them. Reason #2: the York, PA station is about 1 ½ miles from where Sarah was born, and where she lived before for the first three years of her life. Small world!
