Alie Plouff has been honored with the Daily Point of Light Award
CCF is delighted to announce that Alie Plouff has been honored with the Daily Point of Light Award on January 25, 2024. This prestigious award is a testament to her exceptional commitment to addressing the community’s needs with unwavering dedication. Alie’s journey as a caregiver for her mother, who survived cholangiocarcinoma for nearly four years, has been a source of inspiration for many. Her experiences have fueled her pursuit of a doctorate in Occupational Therapy, focusing on caregiving and cholangiocarcinoma research.
Since 2017, Alie has been a dedicated volunteer with CCF, contributing her time and expertise in various roles such as mentoring, research advocacy, social media support, annual conference moderation, and serving as a CARE Team member. Her involvement in numerous administrative projects has been invaluable to the organization.
Alie’s passion, commitment, and selfless contributions genuinely embody the spirit of the Daily Point of Light Award. We are fortunate to have her as part of our community; her achievements inspire us all.
