Paula Ann Marie Conte

On July 13, 2021, Paula Ann Marie Conte, a cherished wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, Nana, and mom, lost a courageous 14 month battle with cancer.

Paula was a strong and selfless woman, who put the needs of everyone else before her own. Lovingly referred to as “Nana”, her pride was first and foremost in her 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Paula dedicated her life to her family and cherished time with loved ones. Her compassion for children led her to a career in child care, where she operated an in-home child care center for 20+ years.

Paula found joy and beauty in the everyday. She was happiest with a full house, cooking delicious meals for her family. And in the garden, where she was a true green thumb, growing beautiful flowers and fresh fruits and vegetables. She loved everyone and everything unconditionally. She believed in forgiveness, even when it was inconvenient. Paula always saw the best in people – and tried to find the silver lining when things seemed to be most bleak.

In celebration of her life and to honor her memory, we are initiating a fund-raising campaign for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation’s (CCF) mission is to find a cure and improve the quality of life for those affected by cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). Please consider making a contribution to this important initiative in Paula’s name. The Conte Family thanks you for honoring Paula’s memory.

With love and appreciation,
The Conte Family
