    Jebben,
You have our prayers. Have you considered getting another opinion? Others on this forum have and have been very glad they did. Keep being an advocate for your Grandma. God bless!

    Margaret,
I’m sorry that we men are such a pain in the butt about hospitals. Afterall, men are just large boys as you probably know. Several times Donna had to literally drag me out the door to go to the ER with the comment “Well, I could let you stay home and die…” As God said in Genesis, “It is not good that man should be alone” so he created woman to keep us from avoiding healthcare alltogether. Thank you God and thank you ladies!

    Blessings!

    Dear Lainy,
We learned from Marion last night of Teddy’s passing. Our hearts go out to you for your loss. But thanks be to God that this is not the end of Teddy’s story as he is welcomed into Paradise and the presence of the living God.

Donna and I left Phoenix yesterday to return to Seattle for the birth of a new grandaughter. She is due around the 16th / 17th of Dec. – the cycle of life continues.

May God continue to heal your heart and bless you.

    Hugs and Love,

    Dear Lainy,
A difficult decision in deed. Our hearts go out to you. BTW, Donna asks me often for a “Teddy update”.

I love the way that Teddy goes right to the heart of what matters – getting a movie to run on the TV. Teddy is definitely my kinda man. How sad that we didn’t meet earlier. Teddy told me that when he was in business he was “connected, if you know what I mean” so we’re all expecting he’ll have “connections” on the other side. You are such amazing folks…

Love, Grace and Peace to you,

    Kathy,
I have to agree. I wouldn’t wish this or any other cancer on my worst enemy. It is evil in nature using our own natural body processes to mame and destroy. It is from the pit of hell. However, God has turned it and used it in so many ways in my life that I wouldn’t trade the experince for anything. He has caused it to be an enriching experience so that even if it succeeds in shortening my life, it will not diminish my life. I hope that doesn’t sound too strange.

We have very little control over what passes through our lives but we control how we respond to it.

    Grace and Peace,

    Hi Dear Friend,
I only spent three days at Banner. Had to check it out you know. It’s become kind of a sick hobby. They sent me home with oral antibiotics and I’m feeling good – especially since I feared I wouldn’t get out of there without another tube and yet I remain tubeless…

I can’t believe you have the emotional energy to think about and care about others with what is happening in your life. I’m pretty close to calling you Saint Lainy…

Love and Blessings to the Sardinis!!

Stents are required when there’s an obstruction in the bile ducts stopping the flow of bile. Symptoms are jaundice, itching, dark urine, clay colored stool among others. Blood tests will show elevated bilirubin along with other abnormal liver functions. No stent is good!

    God Bless!

    Minnie,
You are hereby awarded one official “atta girl” for taking charge. I left Seattle’s rain festival three weeks ago for sunny AZ and the sun seems to energize. The combination of sunshine and family will be so good for Karl.

    God Bless!
