ModeratorA quick google shows that the hospital in questions seems to be big fans of Gerson therapy. A link on Gerson therapy –
And another – http://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/treatment/cam/patient/gerson-pdq
Personally if it was me I would have nothing to do with this therapy at all and if my dad asked me about it I would have told him the same.

ModeratorDear Kevin,
I am so very sorry to hear the news of your mum’s passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. I do wish that there was something that I could say to you that would help ease the pain that you feel right now and having lost my dad to this cancer I so know that pain. You did everything that you possibly could for your mum and I so know how much that would have meant to her.
This is such a tough time for you and please know that we are here for you always. My thoughts are with you and your family right now.

ModeratorGood luck with tonight Carol, I am sure that it will go very well indeed!! And 50 ladies there tonight. Yep, I am sure that your dad will be there as well!
Know what you mean about Christmas and yes, the thought of it is worse than the day itself. My dad died 2 weeks before Christmas in 09 and that was a very tough one to say the least.
Looking forward to hearing how tonight goes!
Hugs,
Gavin

ModeratorHi Nancy,
Welcome to the site. Sorry that you had to find us here and I am so very sorry to hear about your mum. Having lost my dad to this cancer back in 09 I so know the pain that you are feeling right noiw. It is very hard but please believe me and the others when we say that things will get better for you. It will take time but they will get better and you will eventually look back on your mum with so much fonder memories than you most probably have right now.
I am glad that you joined in with us here as I know that coming here helped me so much and I am sure that it will do so for you as well. Please keep on coming back here and know that we are here for you. Looking forward to hearing more from you.
My best to you,
Gavin
