SpectatorHow are you doing now, Mr J?

SpectatorWhen I was jaundiced, it helped the itching to have a fan blowing on me at night. That itching is the most miserable feeling.

SpectatorWeird – I know that I have tumor growing around my bile ducts. I thought that cc always had tumors. Maybe I’m wrong. Has your brother had a CT scan or MRI to confirm diagnosis?

Spectatorfor me: night sweats = menopause

SpectatorThanks for your story, Kristin. I also don’t want to let this disease stop me from living my life to the fullest. You give us hope for long-term survival.
lisa
SpectatorWell, we are kind of talking about giblets with cc, aren’t we? The liver, the bile ducts, the stomach, the small intestine….
lisa
SpectatorSteve, I’ll be praying for you and your wife. I pray that her energy level goes up as the tumor(s) go down.

SpectatorWe went skiing yesterday at Mt. Baker. I had a blast – I went down about 7-10 runs before basically collapsing of exhaustion! Overextended myself, of course, but who wouldn’t on a perfect ski day? We’ll see what the blood counts look like tomorrow

SpectatorRobyn, I’m sorry for your loss. Rick was lucky to have you with him. I often think about the wives and husbands of those of us with cc, and how difficult it must be for them. I’m not married, and wish I had a spouse who could love me and take care of me when I need it.

SpectatorHi Kim – I’m going skiing at Baker tomorrow. Ski conditions are incredible this year – and even though I’m sick and out of shape with cc, I’m going to take at least one run! I think you have got to keep on doing the things you enjoy as much as you can. The little things in life are so much sweeter now.

SpectatorYou and John are in my prayers, Charlene.
December 31, 2007 at 4:46 pm in reply to: Biopsy, inconclusive, non diagnostic. Can someone help me understand #18452lisa
SpectatorGod bless you, Irene. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. We’ve all had different experiences and you may find someone with experiences similar to your husband’s. I have learned a lot here – questions answered that I forgot to ask the doctor.
lisa
SpectatorI’m glad your Dad can have surgery – I’ll pray that it’s successful! How big is your Dad’s tumor? Is it in or outside of the liver?
lisa
SpectatorI had the exact same thing happen during my radiation. My Gastroenterologist said my esophagus was the worst he had ever seen. He put me on Prilosec immediately (2 x per day) and it really helped.
Oh yeah, my doc also said to stay away from the Tylenol because it can hurt an already damaged liver. Try an non acetimenophen (sp?) pain reliver.
lisa
SpectatorHi Jeff – have you tried the hair product called Nioxin? It’s supposed to help stop the hair loss.
