Rena, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Dad several years ago and the pain and emptiness hurts. I pray for peace and comfort for you and your family.

I am 49 and was diagnosed with ICC. I have had two liver resections, several different chemos and steriotactic radiation. If you or your wife would like to talk that would be wonderful.

LisaThank you for all your thoughts and prayers for my recent visit to The Cleveland Clinic. My PET Scan showed no cancer anywhere and my tumor marker CA 19-9 came back today at 14 which is in the normal range and the lowest mine has ever been. My team of medical professionals are amazing, thank you Dr. Bassam Estfan, Vicki Pinkava, Dr. John Fung and Dr. Kevin Stephans. Thank you Lord for the blessing of each and every day.

My Mom had breast cancer too. I saw a segment on CBS nightly news that said if you carry the BRCA 2 gene you are more likely to develop certain cancers and one of them was bile duct cancer. I see my oncologist on June 18th and I want to ask him if I should be tested for the BRCA 2 gene.
