Diana. I am the one with CC and I think it is harder on the caregiver than the patient. My husband has been a saint through all of this but I know he is exhausted and frustrated that he can only do so much. Our faith and trust in God is what gets us through each day. The friends I have met on this website are amazing and so supportive. I feel so bad for you and your family because when the news is fresh it is the hardest to accept. My prayers are with you. I have had two resections and yes the recovery takes some time but they are not bad.

I am concerned because the neighborhood we live in is on the old Firestone property and I bet they dumped chemicals here years ago and maybe it is in our water and environment. We have had four people with different cancers just in our neighborhood. There is all kind of manufacturing around us but as I mentioned I wonder about rubber chemicals. Lisa

Thank you for your support and ideas, I will definitely get a binder since it sticks out and it does hurt. The raw diet is going well, still juicing for breakfast and raw for lunch..I eat cooked things for dinner but vegan items…..I have fallen off the wagon several times….do you think valentines jellybeans are a raw food ? If not they should be…hehehe

This is wonderful news..congrats. I saw my surgeon today and have also developed a hernia at the incision site. I’m not happy about it but so glad it’s not another tumor. So I am thankful for a hernia…funny what things we begin to appreciate…hehehe. Lisa

Roni, it doesn’t matter how old you are..your Mom is your Mom and the thought of loss is so painful. I lost my Mom about a year and a half ago and her beautiful memories keep me going. I will pray that God comforts you and gives you peace.

I have had excellent care at the Cleveland Clinic. My surgeon is Dr. John Fung and he is a great surgeon and a very kind and gentle man. My radiologist is Dr. Stephan’s and he just performed steriotactic radiation on my two new tumors. My oncologist is Dr. Estfan and he is wonderful too. I am going to MD Anderson for a second opinion because I just want to make sure that we are being aggressive enough. Lisa

Hi Our neighbor is a chiropractor and he uses tens unit on me and it has helped. He brought me a portable unit to try and showed us how to use it. Try asking a chiropractor in your area to show you. Good luck. Lisa
