SpectatorLainy,
I wish people would post the type of cancer as well but I think when people go quickly the family does not completely grasp the impact of awareness because they are so raw with emotions. I understand the importance of awareness and collaboration now but it took a while to get to this place. Cantankerous or not, you can chaperone!!!!

SpectatorGetting old does not bother me since it is a privilege denied to many. Now if I could do something with the wrinkles and cellulite…hmmmmm

SpectatorI know when they looked at my tumor after resection they estimated the tumor was about 16 months old. My diagnosis was stage IV ICC.

My CA 19-9 has always indicated the good, the bad and the ugly. Wen an increase is found in the blood, I have had new tumors….my blood work this week was 27… So I am 27!!!!!

SpectatorTrish,
Did they run a CA 19-9 tumor marker? Also, I tested negative to gluten allergy and sensitivity and my Integrative Doctor told me to eliminate gluten because she thought I had leaky gut syndrome. I eliminated gluten and I feel better, my hives are gone and my blood work has improved. I agree with the others that second or even third opinion is in order.
