Hi how are things going
Janet from the south coastmagicSpectatorHi there just another welcome.I have kids around your age(sons)and I empathise with you and your parents too
JanetmagicSpectatorHi Natasha-how terrible for you and your mum to lose your dad and how unreal it must seem. You must be so exhausted too.I hope you can recover some energy to help you through all this.Im so sorry about your dad
kind regards JanetmagicSpectatorRose may even though I was sad and terribly distraught I would have done absolutely anything for my husband. He continued to be his usual kind ,considerate and loving self and that helped us so much.I felt though
that we were on 2 sep arate journeys running parallel to each other at times but supporting each other as we could.
JanetmagicSpectatorI am backtracking a bit but I hope you are ok.My sister has been diagnosed with another type of cancer and has started chemo yesterday. We are close too and as we lost my husband so quickly I am very stressed
kind regards JanetmagicSpectatorWell I have cried every day for the past 5 months sometimes a big cry that gives me a headache and sometimes many small ones.Sometimes private other times in shops or over the phone and I hate feeling that way.Sometimes I go for a walk with tears running.I just keep going but I really wish I was my usual self but I think that self is gone
Janet
magicSpectatorThis post made me feel rather sad.I found the situation of being someones lover and virtually overnight their carer very difficult and so sad.Having very gentle hugs and more kisses is all I can offer
JanetmagicSpectatorGood luck with the chemo. My sister started chemo today for a different cancer so supportive vibes to all
JanetmagicSpectatorGood luck with the chemo-my sister started today for a different cancer. To me the American health system sounds too complicated and with too many players.Ours in Australia is more of a blend of the 2 types of system
JanetmagicSpectatorHi yes accor ding to the oncologist they were related to the cancer but not a usual occurence
JanetmagicSpectatorTom I would like to send a few sympathy vibes your way also.My husband had a few lumps on the head too,a bit anoying and aparrently not that common but they actually shrank back in size and never caused much problem.
kind regards JanetmagicSpectatorHi I am convinced that my husbands diagnosis resulte d from extensive travel in Southeast Asia as a young man.Ihave seen an Australian mortality report on Korean veterans which suggests a link with cholangiocarcinoma but is not conclusive it is dated 2003,I dont know if there is anything more recent.I personally feel sad that there was no public awareness that I picked up on so that we may have caught the disease early
JanetmagicSpectatorHi there a fruit smoothie might be nice for your mum and icecream is good if she feels like it
good luck JanetmagicSpectatorThe ocean is very therapeutic. If you live near it use it-people are terrific though hey Janet
magicSpectatorReally we are all wonderful .We have fires in Victoria and I worry about that.My husband Joel worked in some of these places-he was a jounalist- and I cant imagine what he would think. He was very engaged in what was going on in the world and I miss his input
Janet my friends 80yr old mother has been evacuated! -
