Dear Sara,
I rarely visit this site anymore, but was drawn to it today. I am very sorry to hear about Nicole. May she find the peace she deserves and may you all find the strength to carry on with fond memories and love in your hearts for her. God bless.
Love,
-PampamelaSpectatorKelly,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Heaven has gained a beautiful, precious angel. May you and your family find peace.
Love, -Pam
pamelaSpectatorDear Kelly.
I am so sorry to hear about your dear, sweet mom. She always had the nicest things to say to me before and after my daughter, Lauren passed away last June. I don’t come on this site much because it is just too painful for me, but I happened to see this and had to send a message your way. Your mom is a true gem with a heart of gold. I hope she is resting comfortably. My prayers are with her and your family during this most difficult time.
Love and hugs,
-PampamelaSpectatorHi Percy,
My prayers are with you. I, too lost some of my hope after Lauren passed and I don’t want to discourage others who have nothing but hope. This cancer sucks and takes too many people way too soon. I appreciate everything you have done to help others. May you rest comfortably. All the best to you and yours.
Love,
-PampamelaSpectatorI am so happy for you, Porter!!! You go, girl!!!!
pamelaSpectatorDear Michele,
I am so sorry to hear of your dear husband’s passing. Try to find comfort that he is no longer suffering. I know that is easier said than done because you want him to be there with you and your children. I’m sure it will be dificult for all of you for a long time. Grief is a pain I wish none of us had to go through, but we must. I will pray that you all find peace and acceptance one day. Your husband will always be with all of you. Watch for and be open to the signs. I feel my daughter around me all the time. Love to all of you.

pamelaSpectatorDear Kris,
I am sorry Mark is having such a rough time. Bless him for forging ahead and wanting to continue his treatments even though he feels so crummy. My thoughts are with you both. It is just so difficult sometimes.
Love,
-PampamelaSpectatorDear Michele,
I am sorry for what you and your poor husband must endure. My thoughts are with you. God bless.
Hugs,
-PampamelaSpectatorHi LornaDoone,
I would also like to say congratulations on the successful surgery. My daughter, Lauren, was on many different chemos and Gem/Xeloda was one of them. She had been on Gem before in combination with other chemos and handled it well. She did get a little feverish and achy for a few days. The Xeloda was one of the toughest on her. It made her nauseous and her feet were very red and sore. We ordered special lotion for her from a company called Lindi and I massaged her feet a lot. Every chemo affects everyone differently. Kris didn’t have nausea from Xeloda. We also contacted Genentech and got a huge discount on the prescription. It is well worth it to check out the website. I wish you and your boyfriend all the best.
Hugs,
-PampamelaSpectatorHi Michelle,
It’s nice to hear from you again. I remember when your mom passed and remember how beautiful her picture was. I hope things have gotten a little easier for you. Thank you for mentioning my Lauren. It’s always nice to have a loved one remembered. I remember you were always sweet with your comments. I also follow Christopher’s Facebook page. He is such a beautiful boy and it also breaks my heart that he has to go through so much. I hope this is not a trend with younger people getting this cancer. I wish nobody got this cancer!! I am at a loss as to what Christopher might need. I think a donation would probably be what they need the most. Take care, Michelle.
Love,
-PampamelaSpectatorThinking of you on this sad day, Clare. I hope the pain of missing Nikki has eased a bit. Love and hugs to you,

pamelaSpectatorHi Porter,
I am happy you are doing so well. Lauren’s ONC told her that if she was going to have a bad reaction to the oxaliplatin it would happen around the 7th time it was given. Well, on the 7th time, Lauren had a bad reaction where she turned beet red, got hives everywhere, and her throat started closing. The nurses knew what to do and got it under control. She couldn’t have it after that. She had sensitivity to cold in her mouth and could only drink room temperature liquids for a few days after chemo. Just wanted you to know what to look for. Best of luck to you.
Love,
-PampamelaSpectatorYay for Lainy!!!! So happy for you!!
pamelaSpectatorSuch wonderful news!!! So happy for you.
pamelaSpectatorHi Lainy,
Hoping your test goes well and they find no cancer!! Love to you.
