Alie Plouff and Candles for the Cure

My name is Alie Plouff, and I am a volunteer and former caregiver with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
I first discovered the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation when my parents returned home from the Annual Conference in Salt Lake City in 2016. My mom was diagnosed in 2013 and passed in 2017.
The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation has provided me an outlet to pour my grief into something meaningful. Each day I connect with fellow volunteers, patients, caregivers, and other people impacted by the foundation. I think everyone would agree with me that the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation has given us hope in a time when many struggle to see the light. It has provided a tight-knit community where I have seen strangers become family in an instant. CCF is always advocating for more research and targeted treatment for cholangiocarcinoma, and knowing there is an entire network of people who share the common goal, to find a cure for cholangiocarcinoma, is incredible
Please join me in supporting Candles for the Cure!
