Hi Truby,
I am sorry to read how quickly this disease has progressed for your Aunt.
Marion is right – it can take a bit of tweaking but pain and other symptoms such as agitation and nausea can and should be controlled. There is no reason for her to suffer in any way. My sister died only 5 months after being diagnosed – she was 41 and we cared for her at home. Take strength from each other and here.
Much love x
claremSpectatorBlimey Lainy, I can’t keep up. That is the last time I don’t log on for 10 days (I’m blaming my Dad)! I just replied on your original thread, working through all the posts that you were told your cancer had returned. Then found this one. I like, like, like:-)
claremSpectatorHi Lainy,
I’m just catching up with the forum after being away for 10 days. I’m so sorry to read that you now have this to deal with too. Believe me I am sending you some massive hugs and love. I’m gutted for you that you’ve been dealt this blow. x
claremSpectatorDear Stella,
I am sorry to read this news. It is a real blow and you must wonder where to go from now. Once you have had time you will find the resolve to go on and help your husband in other ways. x
claremSpectatorHi Lojoo,
Welcome to the forum. I am very sorry to hear that your father has been affected by this disease but you have come to the right place for support and help.
I am not able to help on doctors in the US but I am sure that someone will be along very soon that can.

claremSpectatorDear Linda,
I am sorry and although I can say he is at peace and no more pain it does not take away your loss. You have been incredibly brave to nurse him through his last hours and he will have know you were with him.

claremSpectatorI’m sorry I have not posted before now Linda. I am so very sorry to read that Terry has passed. He sounds like a unique man and I hope that with the passage of time your memories of him bring comfort. x
claremSpectatorDear Lou,
What a beautiful picture and beautiful words. x
claremSpectatorHi Lainy,
I’ve not been on since Tuesday and just caught up with your news. You do like to give the doctors a run for their money! We never doubted you had a brain but I suspect your heart is even bigger. x
claremSpectatorHi Juan,
I just wanted to say welcome. You will get so much support and information here. I’m with Lainy and Gavin on the second opinion. Diagnosing this at stage 1 is a positive thing if I can say that – I don’t want to belittle your dad’s diagnosis in any way. But he needs a doctor and a team that are expert in this disease and have treated many cases. Don’t be fobbed off if you have queries and questions in your gut. A great doctor will listen and address them all.

claremSpectatorDear Ilias,
I am so sorry that your mum has passed. She is at peace now x
claremSpectatorHi Judi,
I’m glad the by-pass has been done and your husband is starting to recover from it and that this will help him feel better generally.
claremSpectatorGerardo,
Despite your sadness and pain you have taken the time to come here and pray for others affected by this disease and their families. I love that you always feel her with you and good luck with Relay for Life next month. I’m sure Ginger will be doing it with you.
xclaremSpectatorDear Lou,
I am think of you and your mum.
