Dear Lorraine,
I was saddened to hear that Donnie has passed away. You and your family have my deepest sympathy. Take comfort in memories of the past and keep him with you forever in your heart and those memories. My thoughts are with you all at this sad & trying time.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorTony, no need to apologize for how you are feeling. It is normal & understandable.. Many of us, myself included have been there too. It seems like one day life is normal and you are planning the future and the next we are dealing with things we couldn’t even imagine.
I too am hoping you get some better news on Monday or at least an idea of what direction to go in. Let us know how things are going when you can.
Take Care.
Darla
darlaSpectatorDear Sandie,
I know there is no way to understand completely how you are feeling not having been there myself as it was my husband who lost his short battle with this disease, but I do know that you have gotten this far with grace & dignity and wherever this road leads you I am sure you will do the same with whatever you are given.
Know that we are all here to help and support you in any way that we can. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I too wish for you comfort and peace.
Love & Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorDear Jim,

Thanks for the update, but sorry it isn’t a better one. Not what we wanted to hear and I’m sure not what you and Tom had in mind either. Hoping for a quick turn around so he can stay on the trial or if not that something else will be available. Will definitely be thinking of you both and hoping for the best. Let us know how things are going when you can.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorHave fun!
darlaSpectatorDear Meriza,
I too am so sorry to hear that your father has passed away. You and your family have my deepest sympathy.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorDear Meghan,
So sorry to hear that your mom has passed away. You have my deepest sympathy. I am glad you were able to spend a lot of time with her. Yes Duke has also passed on and is greatly missed here on the site. I too enjoyed his posts.
Take care and come back and let us know how you are doing.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorDear Amy,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband to this disease. Way too young and also so quickly. I know how hard it is to even try to understand what and how this could happen, but am hoping that through your pain and confusion you can be consoled by knowing that at least he did not have to suffer for long. I know at this point it is hard to see any good in all of this, but just know that in time you will begin to heal and be able to take comfort in all the good memories you have of him. Keep him with you forever in your heart and those memories.
Unfortunately I don’t have any of the answers you are seeking, but want you to know that we care and are here to help and support you in any way that we can. I’m sure you will be hearing from others soon. We are a very kind, knowledgeable and supportive group.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorDear Frank,
I am so sorry to learn that Heidi has passed away. You have my sincere sympathy. My husband was 62 when he passed and I thought I lost him too soon, but Heidi was definitely way to young. I too keep hoping that some day there will be an end to all of this. Although there does seem to be more awareness, we are still losing way too many good people to this disease.
Take care. Keep her with you, close to your heart and in your memories of all the good times.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorGreat news. Hope to hear more of the same in the future .
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorJim,
Thanks for updating us. Glad to hear that you have help and support and that Mary’s pain is being managed. I think you are dealing with things as best you can under the circumstances. I know what it feels like to just want to fix things and know that you no longer are in control. It’s hard, but you seem to have a good attitude through all of this. We can still be cautiously optimistic about Mary’s latest treatment option. Know that I am thinking of you and Mary and hoping for the best. Please let us know how things are going. We care and are here for you.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorThanks for the update Marion & Robin.
darlaSpectatorBrigitte,
From posts I have seen of others I think a port would be a good choice. I’m sure others will be along shortly who have experience with this. Sounds like things are progress well. Hope this continues.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorHappy Birthday Lainy. Hope it was enjoyable. Good luck with the surgery. Hope all goes well.
