Can you tell me more about the new diet? We need to start eating better around here too. :)

I’m so glad your getting a surgery!!
My best advice to you for help is to call the american cancer society!
They offer 1 free flight a year for a cancer patient and their caregiver. They can also help you find a hotel for cheap.
They will also give you the names of any local help that you might can get.
I hope this helps! Please feel free to send me a message if you need any more help!

Yep! On it. It took a good 2 weeks for my hair to start falling out. I still have some hair, but the back of my head looks bad.
I can’t stop eating!!!!! Not sure if this is a side effect of the chemo, or maybe a sign that it is working!!

Xeloda has worked really well for me. I’m still on it, but have also added another chemo to the mix.
My side effects were only being tired. I did one week on and one week off.

I know. I’m glad we know what the problem is, now it’s time to move on. Overall, I still feel great other than not eating good. Not much pain. I’m a little sleepy, but that might be from the travel.

I’m on xeloda too. I find myself sleepy while on it. This round I have had some vomiting, and that isn’t normal for me.
I have been doing chemo for almost a year, and hanging in there. Some days are hard, some are easy. Just hang in there, it can be a crazy ride.

Sounds a lot like my reaction to cis. I went to the bathroom, and looked in the mirror and freaked out. Dr. Javle told me if I needed to go back on cis, he would send me to an allerigest in Houston that does an awesome job at desensitising cancer patients to chemo they have had reactions too.
