SpectatorHi Stephen, sorry you are going through all of this. I consider my disease chronic since I know it is a constant war. I would love to hear what your homeopathic doctor advises for nutrition and supplements. I have changed my diet and I really believe it helps.

SpectatorHi,
I will be praying for your family tomorrow.
Lisalisacraine
SpectatorHello and welcome,
Sorry you are going through this with your girlfriend. This is a wonderful group of people that treat and care about you like family. Once you find a medical facility that you feel comfortable with things will start to fall into place. A new diagnosis can make you feel lost and confused. The recommendations and expertise on this site are amazing. You can ask anything.
Praying for you

SpectatorMy treatment has been at The Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center in Cleveland, Ohio. I have a brilliant liver surgeon, Dr. John Fung, a wonderful oncologist, Dr. Bassam Estfan and a superb radiologist, Dr. Kevin Stephens. They work together as a team providing me the best possible treatment options. We also got a second opinion from Dr. Javle, MD Anderson. My records were sent to Dr. Javle and then he consulted with Dr. Estfan in Cleveland and they both agreed I was on the right treatment plan. I have been very pleased with the care at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

SpectatorEli, I also use Agave Nectar since it has a lower glycemic index. I sweeten my coffee with it in the morning. I am really trying to limit sugar consumption but like your wife…I love good chocolates ! My husband laughed when I read him your post because he now eats less sugar than I do, he never cheats on red meat and I do every once in awhile and lastly, he gentle reminds me when I’m about to indulge! He gave all these things up to support me and I have had a harder time giving them up ! I’m a work in progress…hehe

SpectatorThank you ladies, we are over 11k. We will plan maybe a dinner party in the spring and charge our friends a lot of money to eat at our house…hehehe
Please pray for my husband, son and friends as they run Saturday…no injuries!
We will be serving our runners a pasta dinner Friday night at our house and treat them to a cookout after the race…my husband has had me on a vegetarian diet but I think I will have a big old juicy steak on Saturday, I mean with my iron being low and all!!
Hugs, Lisa -
