Five for Friday – 5 Things You Can Do to Participate in Awareness Month
Home / Blog / [wpbb post:title]
Cholangiocarcinoma Awareness Month is fast approaching and is commemorated annually in February. The Foundation supports the designated month with its Light it Green for CCA campaign because Kelly green is the official awareness color for cholangiocarcinoma.
The campaign includes providing light bulbs and signs in our CCF Awareness Store for supporters to raise awareness in their residential neighborhoods. It also advocates the lighting of government and business buildings, hospitals, towers, and bridges in green to spread cholangiocarcinoma awareness.
Visual displays during Cholangiocarcinoma Awareness Month and sharing information about the causes, symptoms, and risk factors for cancer on social media can help save lives.
Consider these five (5) steps as you prepare to participate in the awareness month with us:
Check the list of buildings in your town/city
Download the Light It Green for CCA form
Send an email of confirmation to Allison Deragon
Download the CCF proclamation request form
Share our blog post with your friends and family
