Beth,
You and Dave are at the top of my prayer list. God bless…bob
32coupeSpectatorHi Betsy,
I was going in every six to eight weeks. I could usually know when we were getting close because when I flushed the tube I would experience pressure and occasionaly discomfort indicating that it was clogging. Do you experience occasional infections between tube changes? I had plenty – and often when they would change out the tube I would be sick a day or two after from stirring up bacteria.I was looking for the results of Friday’s procedure. Did you post it and I missed it? Did they find and fix the leak?
Grace and Peace,
bob32coupeSpectatorKris,
Just posting to add my prayers to everone else’s. Maybe we can get a “squeeky wheel” thing going in heaven. BTW, have you noticed how quick and how many responses to your update? There’s obviously a bunch of love out there for you – literally from all over the world. May God make His presence known to you as you go through this.Grace and Peace,
bob32coupeSpectatorBeth,
Sending prayers right now for a solution to Dave’s current issues as well as for the cause to be a pesky scar tissue blockage – it doesn’t need to be a “recurrence”. May God bless the Graff household and show Himself to be mighty on your behalf.Grace and Peace,

32coupeSpectatorHi Rick,
My heart goes out to you man. I’ll be praying that the Living God will take away the current symptoms and fulfill your desire for a special time with your wife. God bless you and your family…bob
32coupeSpectatorHi Valjee,
Do I understand correctly that the stent is currently draining internally? And is there a plan to eventually stretch the area of blockage so the stent can be removed?Praying for a good outcome..God Bless!

32coupeSpectatorBetsy,
I was fortunate to have no leak issues so my experience was different – thank you God. I’m glad they believe they can solve this for you. I’ll be praying Friday for the doctors and for you for a really good outcome. Be sure to let us know how things work…As for me, I remain ‘tube’ free with no symptoms and I am gaining strength and stamina daily. Though I am feeling great, they now believe I may have PSC as a result of months of infections. They are watching it with monthly blood work. Thanks for asking…
Grace and Peace to you,
bob32coupeSpectatorLainy,
Thanks for the update. Many, many people are following your posts regarding your beloved “T”. He has become beloved to us as well.I have a theory regarding Teddy’s remaining: Jesus said “In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you”. Teddy’s place is not quite complete. I know… they’ve had a couple of thousand years… but they are putting on a few finishing touches. May the Living God continue to hold you close to His heart…

32coupeSpectatorGaby,
I’m sorry but the “clinical trial” was for my specific case. It just amounted to a test of the ducts in the liver to see if they would drain on their own after being ‘strectched’ for many months. I pray for God’s best for your father…Grace and Peace,

32coupeSpectatorDiane,
I would join with others recommending you ask about the inclusion of an oncologist in your care – especially one with experience with CC. My surgeon brought an oncologist in immediately after surgery. I had chemo and radiation and afterwards, I saw him every two months for the first two years.God Bless you!

bobSeptember 30, 2010 at 3:36 am in reply to: E-coli bacteria infection/diuretics- need some advise please #4123432coupeSpectatorI’ve had a ‘gaggle’ of such infections over the last year and though they are serious, they are very treatable with a variety of antibiotics. Even had one nasty little e-coli mutate in the middle of a treatment protocol, got sick all over again and had to come up with another treatment. Mom will be fine…
Grace and Mercy to you…

32coupeSpectatorIn the final tally, we are all “in God’s hands” for certain. I can’t think of better hands to be in. Thanks for passing on good news. It encourages everyone I’m sure. Prayers coming your direction…

I too will be praying that “God will intervene” and restore you to health. There doesn’t seem to be a “silver bullet” which goes to the heart of this awful disease and puts it to death. Everyone’s story is so different. But there are survivors and you could be one.Grace and Peace,
bob32coupeSpectatorMary,
The term “I feel your pain” certainly is overused but… I feel your pain – or at least Tom’s. My last year has been much like Tom’s – more trips to the hospital with scary infections than I can count. On a couple of occasions I begged my wife to not take me – of course she had to. It feels crazy that the cancer is no longer a concern but liver disease is…I am praying now for grace to get you through what is before you. May the peace of God surround you like a warm blanket.
