It’s so much better to have some information, isn’t it – it’s the waiting, waiting & not knowing which is so particularly stressful.

I’m sending LOADS of good wishes for a reassuring CT result & for a quick start to your dad’s treatment.

Welcome, Sharpeilover. I’m sorry I can’t answer your question – but I wanted to welcome you. I hope I’ll be able to help with other questions you may have, though. Keep coming on & asking them!!

It’s a Marie Curie one. She didn’t say much about it when she got back, except that it looks really good. I hope she did enjoy her visit, but it must be so scary – even as a day visitor – when the very word “hospice” carries such emotional connotations.

But she said it has a hydrotherapy pool :D :D :D!!!

Welcome, welcome to this wonderful site, maebas2. I wish you the very best of luck tomorrow & please tell us how you get on with the surgeon.

Yes, mixed emotions are very normal in this. My own emotions swing all over the place, even though I feel I’m getting used to living with my sister’s CC now. I remember in the very early days (July) I was bouncing off the walls on a regular basis (& coming on here to bounce off them some more, too!!)

Dear Bazel – God bless Darby & may she rest peacefully.

My thoughts are with you all at this very sad time.

Thank you all. She’s gone off to a day centre today for the first time. I remember the wonderful things you said about your dad’s day centre, Gavin & I can’t wait to hear what she thinks about hers this evening.

Good luck getting the appointment brought forward, Jen & Lu. I join the others in welcoming you here. The waiting, waiting, waiting is so hard but this site is a brilliant place to come for support & understanding.

I’m so sorry to read of your loss, Sad in Chandler. I think it’s lovely that Jenoise (what a beautiful name!!) was able to have some time with her loving family & loving dog.

My best wishes to you all at this very, very sad time.
