Ysidra R. Vasquez was born to Ysidro and Natalia Rodriguez on March 15, 1943 in Dallas Texas. She battled for three years against Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). On Oct 20, 2015, she entered eternal happiness with God, our Father.

She was a housewife for her husband of 49 years, Rudy and their 6 children. Known as “granny”, she loved to sew, work on jigsaw puzzles, bake cookies and watch her novelas.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Ysidro and Natalia, and her son Jesus Vasquez. She is survived by her loving husband Rudy, children Adela Davis (Sidney), Rudy Vasquez (Teresa), Jr. , Lisa Vasquez, Rachel Farmer (Jerry), Alex Vasquez (Morgan), 12 Grand children, 1 great grandchild, 4 brothers and 3 sisters, as well as many nephews and nieces, many more extended family and friends.
